Project Overview
Territory Surveys undertook an engineering survey of the Hidden Valley Drag Strip to support pavement resurfacing design and quantity assessment.
The survey covered a 450 m section across the full width of the drag strip. It captured surface levels, longitudinal and transverse profiles, drainage paths, visible defects, low and high points, wheel paths and areas of surface distortion, providing a detailed picture of the existing pavement condition.
Existing survey control was also established and verified to ensure the survey was aligned with the project datum and design requirements. The resulting survey data was delivered as a 3D CAD model referenced to MGA and AHD, providing the design team with reliable information for resurfacing design and planning.
