Project Overview
Territory Surveys has provided ongoing construction survey support across Projects P923, P949 and P941 at RAAF Base Darwin, working alongside SLSCO Ltd. and the wider project teams throughout construction.
The three packages cover an aircraft parking apron, a maintenance support facility and an aircraft maintenance hangar, forming part of a major Defence infrastructure program at RAAF Base Darwin. SLSCO was awarded a US$462.4 million contract for the delivery of the aircraft parking apron and supporting facilities, with completion expected in December 2027.
Territory Surveys supports the works as construction progresses, providing construction set-out, level and alignment checks, construction verification and as-constructed surveys. Our surveyors work closely with contractors and engineers to provide accurate measurements and records for works underway, adapting survey support to the changing construction sequence and site requirements.
The ongoing engagement across multiple packages demonstrates Territory Surveys’ ability to provide consistent survey support within a complex Defence construction environment, from initial set-out and verification through to as-constructed documentation.
